We first opened our doors in the Yukon in 2016 as Solo Equipment Products Inc., inspired by one of the greatest movie characters of all time—Han Solo. In 2024, we rebranded as Saber Equipment Products Inc., tipping our helmet to another iconic legend: the lightsaber. While our name choices are a nod to some of our founder’s favourite films, there’s a fun twist too—SEP just happens to match the initials of our founder, Scott E. Petrie. Proof that sometimes, the force really is with us.
